Dimentiara

"...And I think to myself, what a wonderful, parallel world~"

The world of Dimentiara is an earth-like planet from a universe parallel to our own. Although the laws of physics in this universe are subtly different, and the planet itself has different continents, Dimentiara is remarkably similar to Earth. It’s the same size, is the same distance from its sun, has a moon of the same size and distance, a similar climate and atmospheric composition, and is even surrounded by a nearly identical solar system. The reason for this is because Dimentiara actually is Earth, or could at least be considered Earth’s alternate-dimension counterpart.

Most notably, this world is dominated by a variety of strange and powerful monsters known locally as Kreatures. Their ubiquitous presence and the extreme danger they pose shapes every aspect of daily life in Dimentiara.

The nations which currently comprise Dimentiara’s geopolitical landscape trace their origins to various tribes that emerged in the aftermath of the wars that once plagued the planet.

Society

Humans exist in the world of Dimentiara but they aren't endemic; they were originally refugees who wound up there after escaping their dying homeworld through an interdimensional vortex. They have no way of returning and the people they left behind are long dead and gone. They now share Dimentiara with three indigenous sapient races: the avian, tree-climbing Domonids, the subterranian reptilian Silarcs, and the semi-aquatic cetaceoid Dolneans. They all currently live together in an integrated society with humans as the largest demographic.
