This Kreature was engineered for nighttime bombing runs. It has a gland that secretes noxious chemicals which it can mix with its own guano. During wartime, huge flocks of Nocctaires would be deployed at once, raining down a torrent of terrible toxic turds on the enemy below. It's protected from its own acid by a special mucosal layer that lines its gastrointestinal tract, and it has full control over its acid gland, preventing it from destroying its own habitat with its fecal matter. Nocctaires are sociable Kreatures, mostly friendly, but bicker frequently over food and roosting space. None the less, they are loyal to their colony mates, and will readily adopt each other's offspring if they become orphaned. They become anxious when kept in groups smaller than three, so it's recommended for Tamers keep them in single-sex groups of at least four; that way if one needs to be taken out for training or combat the other three won't be lonely.
