A fleet-footed herbivorous mammal of the open plains, characterized by their hairy chins and shaggy fetlocks, which are possessed by both sexes. Originally native to the Shigdar Plains of Akatoria, they've been introduced to Zaitopia, Badonlas, Lenlaria and Rikenga. Domesticated breeds are used as mounts, as pack animals, and are also occasionally slaughtered for food; in Dimentiara's western hemisphere, no cultural taboo developed against eating horse meat.
