Founded by Gene and Kate Touma in DAC5214, the Crimson Lightning team can be considered a sister team to the Wyldcard Team. Their decision to leave was not made abruptly - it was part of their long term plan ever since the Wyldcard team's inception and they hold no ill-will towards each other.
