Canon

Battle Kreaturez canon is, uh, iffy. It used to be pretty straightforeward but Battle Kreaturez - Comeback kinda shook things up. Here's a rundown on how it currently stands:

Top Level Canon

• The main chapters of the webcomic itself.
• The events of the web novel Battle Kreaturez - Comeback
• The Interval side-comics
• The Illustories

Secondary Canon

• Lore established by the Cast Page, Kreature Archive and other supplementary information sources (such as this wiki) are considered canonical until contradicted by top-level canon. Stuff related to Dimentiara's history in particular should be taken with a grain of salt, as it's always been in a state of nebulous canonicity due to not being fully fleshed out.
• The Cast QnA. The answers themselves can be considered canonical but the fourth-wall breaking is not. Don't treat them as sacrosanct, however.

Non-Canon

• The eight chapters of Battle Kreaturez - Legacy
• Any incarnations of the series that predate the webcomic's publication
• Any random ideas or lore that I came up with during development which I discarded or never implemented

Notes

- Don't worry too much about small details changing such as character designs or the layout of the characters' homes and such. Just treat it as a minor retcon and move on with your life. Not everything needs an in-universe explanation 🙃
