Battle Kreature

Battle Kreatures are the namesake of the comic. They are a sub-type of bioengineered Kreatures which have been designed specifically for combat. With features such as compact nuclei that emit stronger auras, reinforced bones and muscle fibers, integrated soft robotics, sharpened fighting aptitude and bio-software to facilitate mindlink compatibility, Battle Kreatures have far superior combat prowess than conventional or Wild Kreatures. When set loose to live in the wild, they become Feral Kreatures. When equipped with Battle Kreature Enhancement Armour and utilized for armed combat, they may be referred to as War Kreatures.
Battle Kreatures instinctively love fighting and feel a deep yearning to test their might against a worthy opponent. They also become quite attached to their Tamers, particularly those they've opened up to and mindlinked with. Thus, Battle Kreatures actually need to fight for the sake of their emotional and psychological well-being, and fare much better in captivity being doted on by people. When their needs are neglected, Battle Kreatures may become depressed and rapidly deteriorate in health, or lash out in frustration.
When they are properly housed and have all their needs met, Battle Kreatures pose no more of a threat than any other type of bioengineered Kreature. However, their lust for combat and their lack of fear towards people means that feral Battle Kreatures are extremely dangerous, as they're often drawn towards populated areas in their search for opponents. A high ranking feral Battle Kreature on a rampage can easily destroy an entire city, so Kreature Trackers are employed to monitor their movements and fend them off if necessary.
