If Bumbuzzle has an enemy that's even worse than Vespincer, it's Fursapillar. These surly, burly beasts will brazenly attack their hives in search of honey, which they can smell from many kilometers away. They're capable of completely shrugging off Bumbuzzle's projectile stingers, which simply get stuck in their woolly fur. They have humongous appetites and will utterly gorge themselves until they are satisfied. Although they prefer meats and sweets, Tamers are advised to feed their Fursapillars a diet primarily consisting of vegetables to prevent them from becoming overweight. During the winter, feral Fursapillars take shelter under piles of leaves and can freeze completely solid until they thaw out in the spring thanks to cryoprotectant proteins in their cells. When travelling downhill, Fursapillars will curl up and roll to expedite their progress, recklessly smashing through anything that gets in their way. They've even been known to plummet hundreds of meters off the edges of cliffs, simply dusting themselves off and continuing on their way upon impact. Hikers are advised to ignore these shortcuts that Feral Fursapillars create, regardless of how tempting they might be to use.
