A gigantic black and red dragonfly with a wingspan the size of a grown man's hand. Insects this large have not been seen in Dimentiara since prehistoric times. Their greatest population density is in the Sauna Rainforest but they are migratory and can be found in the southernmost Keemok Swamplands and Lavok Archipelago as well. Smaller specimens feed primarily on mosquitos, but adult males will attack damselfies, katydids, hornets, and even hummingbirds. The nymph stage is an even more ferocious predator that will devour tadpoles and small fish.
