Zarlar is the meta-form of Zarling. Though it has lost its wings, it's still a strong and agile climber. It will ambush other Kreatures, hauling the kill up a tree or into a cave to drink its aura-rich blood without being disturbed. While it prefers its meat fresh and bloody, Tamers can trick their Zarlars into eating frozen/thawed meat by wiggling it around to simulate movement. It has a muscular, compact body built more for grappling than for running, so its stamina is fairly low. It will use raw power to overwhelm and dispatch its opponents with its array of sharp claws and teeth. Feral Zarlars are highly adaptable and good at surviving in urban areas. They are solitary and nocturnal, will prey on other feral Kreatures, seek out territory in parks and alleyways and create dens in storm drains, subway systems and abandoned buildings.
