Jegrad's back and tail are covered with long, sharp quills that can detach and embed themselves in an opponent's flesh. Their quills are covered in tiny serrations that make pulling them out even more painful than getting pierced by them. Their long, curved foreclaws are well suited for both climbing and attacking; they walk on their knuckles to keep them from getting blunt. They possess anal glands from which they can spray a cloud of horribly pungent musk when they're threatened. [[Kreature Tamer|Tamers]] are advised to invest in a gas mask, as sometimes a Jegrad's anal glands will get clogged and need to be manually expressed. Though Jegrads primarily feed on fruits and berries, their disposition is as foul as their odor and they'll attack strangers with very little provocation.
