These orb-weavers are a common sight to Kreature Tamers and their grooms, who often find them building webs in the rafters of their Kreature stables. Some tamers welcome their presence, since they prey on pests such as [[Redwing Fly|Redwing flies]] that might irritate their Kreatures. Bites from these spiders are rare as their fangs have difficulty piercing human skin, and when they do the bite is no more severe than that of a mosquito. They originated in Zaitopia's Cryptic Forest but have been accidentally introduced to temperate regions all over Dimentiara.

Becky is an offbeat, nerdy, hopeless girlfailure. What time she doesn't spend training or taking care of her Kreatures is spent lounging around alone in her room, inhaling junk food, playing video games and writing lewd fanfiction. She loves to yammer on endlessly about her interests, which primarily revolve around shipping her favourite male characters. She's bashful and insecure, which a lifetime of ostracization from her peers has only exacerbated. She finds difficulty making friends or even talking to people outside the internet. When she does eventually open up to someone she's sweet and intensely loyal, albeit somewhat annoying.

==Kreatures==

Becky's mother is [[Linda Lane Barsky]], an Ace-Grade Kreature Tamer with a solid rep in the singles league. Unfortunately she hasn't inherited much of her mother's combat skill. Becky's fighting style amounts to either playing support roles or flinging herself at her opponents in a reckless fury.

Spencer is an apprentice Tamer who comes to work as a groom on the [[Wyldcard Team]]. While not particularly bright, he's a wholesome, outgoing, generous guy. Nothing seems to get to him; he’s well disciplined and remains positive and enthusiastic, even when he's ordered to perform the most tedious, backbreaking or disgusting task. A striker for his highschool soccer team, the [[Billaine Town Ruggedons]], he has a habit of referring to the senior Wyldcard members his "coaches" – they find it cute so they don’t bother correcting him. It's hard to say if he's just an oblivious meathead or if he puts up an optimistic front to raise morale and keep others in high spirits.

While he tries to take his teammates’ feelings and input into account, he has a very clear vision for the way he wants to do things and it can be difficult to get him to budge once he’s made up his mind.

Gene’s a good strategist and is the team’s main battle planner; he has an analytic combat style, using his Kreatures to fight defensively until he gets a handle on his opponent’s attack patterns.

She is the first [[Offshoot]] woman to hold this title in the history of the Federation. She has high approval ratings in the [[Kreature Combat]] community, where she is widely viewed as noble, wise, humble, and an inspiration to all [[Kreature Tamer|Tamers]]. She wields immense soft power and cultural clout which surpasses that of many actual politicians; world leaders from all over [[Dimentiara]] try to curry her favour. With her confident persona she seems to easily carry the weight of her responsibilities, but it's hard to say if she's actually that sure of herself or if she just has a good poker face. Formerly one of the original members of the illustrious [[Mega-Ten Team]], she is one of a handful of Supreme-Grade Tamers and one of the top five best Tamers in the entire world.

Its shell conceals a long, whip-like body which can strike out in a fraction of a second. It will impale its prey on its venomous fangs, which injects a neurotoxin that incapacitates the victim within seconds. It will usually lie concealed on the seafloor, waiting for prey. However, if it is discovered, it can use the twin water jets protruding from its shell to make a quick escape. It's even been known to jump out of the water; sometimes feral specimens fatally collide with unsuspecting boaters and water skiers.

They're primarily nocturnal, but will emerge during the daytime on humid or rainy days.

This Kreature is commonly farmed as a food crop. The cultivar which exists today has been so extensively modified through genetic modification and selective breeding that it no longer resembles its wild ancestor (which is now extinct and was 1/10th of the size.) However, it still retains a self-preservation instinct, anchoring itself to the dirt with its roots and hands and stiffening its leaves, which have tiny serrations along the edge. The trick to harvesting a Vegeroot is to pull it out with a single strong yank before it knows what's happening. Originally grown in open fields, these days they're mainly grown indoors in hydroponic farms.

This prideful nocturnal predator likes to climb high so it can survey its domain. So long as it's out of reach it feels smugly superior to all those beneath it. However, when it's on the ground it loses much of its confidence and becomes much more timid. It uses its sharp senses to lock onto its prey and swoop in silently for the kill. It has a playful streak and has been known to toy with its victims before finishing them off. Though engineered as a Battle Kreature, Zarlings are affectionate, tame down easily and suitable for novice or hobbyist tamers to keep as a pet. In lieu of any trees to climb, domestic Zarlings will perch on tall furniture instead, such as bookshelves or refrigerators.

This nightmarish predatory Kreature was designed for nocturnal reconnaissance missions. Not only is it an agile flyer with sharp reflexes, with its keen hearing it can lock onto prey while blindfolded and even avoid attacks that it can't see coming. Its hairless body also allows it to feel air currents directly on its skin. All this together makes it a Kreature that's hyperaware of its surroundings at all times. This suite of abilities makes it useful to [[Kreature Tracker]]s in addition to Kreature Tamers. Its primary offensive attack is a sonic beam it emits from its mouth, which penetrates the target with concussive ultra high-frequency vibrations. It prefers to sleep during the day, finding a nice sturdy branch to hang from with its grasping toes and prehensile tail. Mother Mardaxes will carry their young inside their pouches until they're ready to fly, which they can seal shut to keep their babies from falling out. Mardaxes mostly prefer flesh but also have a sweet tooth for fruit, nectar and honey.

If it is gravely wounded, it will sacrifice a portion of its stamina to instantly regenerate the injury, unlike most Kreatures which regenerate more gradually. Feral populations can be found in tropical forests and urban areas across Dimentiara's equator, where they have been known to lie in wait next to artificial light sources such as street lamps or neon signs to ambush prey attracted to the glow. Males bark loudly all through the night to call out to females, and will seek out hollow logs or water pipes to amplify the cacophony. Their eggs are sticky too, and are laid in clumps behind loose bark or underneath branches, where the female will guard them ferociously, but after they hatch the young are on their own.

This Kreature is designed for surveillance, reconnaissance and air-to-air combat. It has four wings which grant it incredible speed and manoeuvrability in flight, enabling it to hover and even fly backwards. It absorbs energy from the sun and unleashes it in the form of heat vision with devastating range and precision. Feral specimens are hardy and adaptable predators that will nest in tall trees, or on rock formations or tall buildings. Rahawks form monogamous pairings who work together to raise their chicks; if they make a kill that is too heavy to carry back to the nest, they'll take turns dismembering it and bring back the meat piece by piece. Their A-shaped tail feathers are used to signal to others of their own kind. Males have longer tail feathers than females, and their vivid colours are a symbol of his vitality.

When it finds a victim that is on the brink of death, it will finish it off with a neurotoxic venom in its talons, and then flap its wings to contaminate the meat with poison so that only its own kind can eat it. Despite its reputation as a spectre of death, this Kreature is clever, mischievous and loves to play pranks on other Kreatures, such as cawing loudly in [[Mardax]]'s ears or pulling on [[Wyrmaou]]'s tail while it's asleep. It can distinguish one person from another, responding positively to those who treat it kindly, and holding a grudge against those who betray its trust. Its fast learning curve, ease of care and useful support abilities make it a popular choice among newbie Kreature Tamers.

This Kreature was originally designed to be a pet, but its sharp reflexes and survival instincts make it pretty effective in battle as well, especially for a Tamer that specializes in support roles or evasive maneuvers. The antlers on its head are set in sockets that allow them to swivel, and are used for detecting enemy movements and balancing when making high speed turns. In a pinch, they can also be used for self defense; many a large opponent has been brought down unexpectedly by having a Jaljal suddenly dart between their legs and lacerate their tendons. Grasses, blossoms and berries are its favourite foods, and thanks to its mild-mannered temperament, it is a good Kreature for a novice Tamer to start out with. Feral Jaljals are extremely abundant and can be found in nearly every nation in Dimentiara, which the exception of some islands in Lavok and Olios where they've been eradicated or never introduced.

It has a long prehensile tail that it uses as a counterbalance while climbing, which is armed with coarse, needle-like hairs. It can flick the hairs off its tail like projectiles, or embed them directly with a painful tail strike. It will communicate with others of its kind using high pitched chirps and shrieks, which its large ears can detect even in dense forests. Feral Medalliaes are common in forests across Dimentiara, preferring to nest in hardwood trees, as their broad leaves provide more shelter. In areas where their populations overlap, Medalliaes and [[Gogon]]s compete with each other for the same habitat and resources. If groups of these Kreatures come into contact it's not uncommon for them to wage war against each other over territory. A single Medalliae is no match for a Gogon so they will fight them two against one using bait and switch tactics.

Feral Gogon populations can be found in tropical forests all across Dimentiara. It has binocular colour vision which enables it to spot delicious fruit and bugs in the forest canopy. Mangoes are its favourite food, to the point where its kind will use them as tokens in exchange for inter-group alliances, social status and sex; some even become addicted to mangoes and grow irritable from withdrawal when they're out of season. It goes without saying that mango farmers despise this Kreature, and will hire [[Kreature Tracker]]s to monitor their movements and kill them on sight, but Gogons are so fecund that this doesn't make much of a dent in their numbers.

Its skin is covered with tough scales like armoured plates, which grant this Kreature its name. Its tail blade can strike an opponent in the blink of an eye. It’s highly intelligent and has a complex vocal apparatus, allowing it to mimic human speech like a parrot. Populations of feral Platroxes can be found on a handful of islands in the northern [[Lavok Archipelago]], where they live in small groups among thorny bushes on the forest floor and forage for bugs, worms and mushrooms in the leaf litter. Because feral populations are endangered, nucleus samples are hard to come by and it is difficult to mass produce, Tamers consider it to be very rare and special Kreature.

This vicious predator was engineered for quick and stealthy assassinations. Feral specimens can be found lurking in caves, burrows, cellars, storm drains and abandoned buildings during the day, emerging during the night to hunt. It is armed with huge fangs that inject a deadly venom which inflicts rapid and hideous necrotic tissue damage, effectively predigesting its prey. It also excels at defensive combat; when threatened, it will discharge a noxious, volatile spray from its abdomen at its attacker, and then beat a hasty retreat or reposition itself for a counterattack. Its serrated pincers have a long reach and are more effective for grasping, poking and stabbing than they are for crushing. Females protect their inch-long offspring by carrying them around until they're large enough to fend for themselves. Up to 200 of them will cling to her back and underside at a time.

A stealthy aquatic ambush hunter. It has an easygoing disposition, making it a fine choice as a first Kreature for a novice Tamer or a hobbyist. It is able to target its prey with ease even in the murkiest water thanks to sensitive subdermal lateral lines which pick up vibrations. Although it appears soft and squishy, its ribs are able to rotate 50 degrees foreword, and are tipped with sharp, reinforced points. When it is under attack or coiling around prey, its ribs will erupt through its skin and impale whatever Amphisnake is wrapped around. The damage inflicted to itself by its ribs will instantly heal when they retract into its body.

Jagordol was an attempt at creating a meta form for Jagaldie which didn’t go entirely as planned. While it does indeed boast high attack power, it was too vicious to tame or mindlink with. It also suffers from a number of physical defects, most notably its skin, which has a tendency of breaking out into oozing, infected pustules. However, the tailblade worked as intended, and was implemented into the design of Kagaldie with only minor adjustments. Rarely, hormonal imbalances caused by stress or metamorphosing too early can cause a Jagaldie to become a Jagordol.

Kagaldie is the meta-form of Jagaldie. Its reflective tail blade can absorb an opponent's energy attacks to replenish its strength or heal its injuries. In addition, its tail is composed of interlocking segments that allow it to catch and control an opponent's appendages. Herds of feral Jagaldies are always led by a Kagaldie, which usually metamorphoses from the oldest, largest member of the herd. It takes its job as a guardian very seriously, to the point where it will even bury the herd's droppings to avoid attracting predators. It will show this same steadfast loyalty towards its tamer and its teammates.

A '''Nucleus''' is an organ possessed by every [[Kreature]]. The function of a Kreature's nucleus is to emit its [[Nucleo-Aura]], a protective forcefield that is the source of its powers. Its secondary function is to produce the extradimensional particles which compose said aura. If a Kreature is severely injured, its nucleus can convert small amounts of surplus aura into large amounts of bodily tissues in order to regenerate. Thanks to this healing factor, Kreatures can survive heinous injuries that would be fatal to humans or animals, even the to the heart or the brain. Most Kreatures regenerate gradually, with the length of time required varying depending on the amount of damage; it may take just a few minutes or several hours. Some Kreatures, such as [[Geksaur]], have the Rapid Regeneration ability which enables them to regenerate body parts in mere seconds, albeit at the cost of a lot of their stamina. However if the nucleus itself is destroyed the Kreature will die.

Bioengineers have discovered a method to exploit this ability. In a process similar to taking a cutting from a plant, nucleus samples from donor Kreatures can be extracted and spliced in the lab, then put in [[cultivation chamber]]s with nanites and an aura-rich nutrient slurry to accelerate their growth. This allows Kreatures to be easily mass produced.

The nucleus is typically stored in a secure section in a Kreature's anatomy, such as in its center of mass, but the exact placement varies from one species to another. Some Kreatures with amorphous bodies, such as [[Slimok]], [[Goosprite]] and [[Gasplorg]], can even shift their nuclei around. [[Battle Kreature]]s are engineered with nuclei that are extremely compact, enabling them to emit powerful auras while also being small enough in stature to be practical to keep in captivity.

[[Domonid]]s, [[Silarc]]s and [[Dolnean]]s are technically Kreatures and as such, possess nuclei which emit auras. [[Micro-Kreature]]s also possess nuclei, but theirs are too small to emit a full aura.
